Seth Goldman

Mr. Goldman is responsible for project management and manager due diligence at Park Madison Partners. In this role, he works with Park Madison’s senior leadership team providing capital raising and advisory services to the firm’s commercial real estate clients and helps diligence new business prospects.

Prior to joining Park Madison Partners in 2022, Mr. Goldman was an Investment Director within NEPC’s Real Assets Research team, where he was responsible for client management, manager sourcing and due diligence. During his tenure at NEPC, Mr. Goldman led the underwriting for 30+ private real estate and real assets funds that were approved by NEPC’s Alternative Assets Committee.

Mr. Goldman earned a BA in Finance from the University of Delaware in 2015. He is a CAIA charterholder.

What do you like best about your job?

The best part of my job is having the opportunity to work in an intellectually stimulating environment with colleagues that are highly motivated to succeed. PMP is comprised of a diverse team with buy-side, sell-side, and consulting backgrounds in the real estate industry. We challenge each other to think critically and strive to generate the best results for our clients. Across our team, we have a unique dynamic which enables us to operate as a highly efficient organization. It is truly refreshing to come to work each day and continue to learn from the perspectives and experience of my colleagues.

How does Park Madison choose its clients?

Before taking on a new mandate, PMP performs extensive upfront due diligence on team, track record, and strategy to ensure we are partnering with best-in-class real estate sponsors that can provide a differentiated offering to the market. As a boutique, employee-owned capital placement firm, time is one of our most precious resources. As such, we work with prospective clients to define success early in the process and require an extremely high degree of certainty we can meet our clients’ objectives in order to take on a new mandate. As a consensus-based shop, all Partners at the firm must be supportive of any mandate we take on. Alignment is a critical consideration when determining whether a mandate is a fit for PMP’s platform. We partner with ~1% of the real estate sponsors we meet each year.

What are some of your interests outside of work?

I try to spend as much free time as possible outdoors. I enjoy golfing, playing tennis, running, and hiking. I am a social person that enjoys spending time with family and friends. In the summer, I enjoy spending weekends at the beach in Cape Cod.
